That’s mold.
That doesn’t look like mold. Have you tried cleaning it?
Also don’t be so scared about mold. I’ve lived in Germany all my life and never had problems with mold even though apart from opening my windows pretty regularly I don’t do anything to prevent it. And I’ve only heard of one person that I know personally getting mold in their place. There’s a lot of posts about mold but not a lot of posts about not having mold obviously. So the mold topic seems overrepresented on reddit. Open your windows, buy a hydrometer and you’ll be okay
Man that can be anything.
I don’t know for Sure. But i had something similar, i later found out it’s Booger spots the previous owner threw around and some stuck to the wall and leave marks just like these.
A friend of mine said they have the same spots behind the bed of his little brother because he threw his boogers behind his bed aswell.
You should get a private liability insurance if you haven’t already — it’s pretty affordable, like 5 eur a month. It covers any damages that happened due to mould in your rental apartment. Just generally a useful thing to have in Germany. Also get a humidity meter
ai think ussually mold starts in corners or next to windows or other objects close to the wall, in your case it looks like some spill as well , but in rare cases could be mold as well when somethings off on the other side of the wall or is hollow
