Yep. We know our history, whe see what happening around the world right now, and we remember that any international agreements are only hallow promises.. (Ukraine supposed to be protected by UK and USA cause they get rod of nuclesr welon after cuttingnof from Russia… And we know the out come of this protection)
Its is always better to be preperred. Always.
Some day we will be able to not care about military so much but with Russia being Russia it is not this day.
If only money fought on the battlefield…
The problem is that Ukraine is spending this money on equipment far better suited for today’s battlefield than Poland is. Sadly, in our high command, there are people who still don’t understand how warfare has changed in the past 4 years. But at least the numbers look like impressive 🥳.
I think there is a fairly wide consensus in Poland that spending of this magnitude is absolutely justified and necessary. That helps a lot.
When you are surrounded by Germany and Russia you need a strong force
