Can’t wait to see what February brings
I’ve a 40 sqm flat roof half done..
jesus, 1950 must have been rough
Is it me or is there a pattern to the fluctuations in this?
And International Wet Day isn’t until April 10th..
Wow they had it bad in 1948…
imagine the conditions back then, no electricity, only a fire for heat, no inside toilets, no running water, basic cement flooring and windows, rooves were basic possibly thatch…
Flip that would have been miserable, cold and damp
Certainly felt like it! I’ve barely been able to go for a walk without being soaked.
The was roughly double the amount of rainfall as the long term average in parts of the East.
By contrast, weather stations on the west of the country, had less rainfall than the long term average.
