    Qualcuno può spiegarmi questo graffito?


    Non sono di madrelingua tedesca, quindi potrei perdermi la battuta qui. Se ce n’è uno. I papà argoviesi hanno una pessima reputazione o cosa? Il luogo in cui si trovano i graffiti è a Dättwil, vicino a Baden, in Argovia.

      Just local patriotism/ banter between Aarau and Baden. Most likely close to the stadium of Fc Baden?

      It looks like they wrote Aarau, the city not the canton. Probably local banter

      There’s a joke that’s saying people from aargau can’t drive My guess is that some people just like to shit on them for that reason.

      It just says literally “Thanks mum, that dad isn’t from Aarau <3”. As an Aargauer (not from Aarau) it made me laugh. I assume the same will be true for others. It’s probably just someone who’s proud to be “from Baden”, as opposed to Aarau. It’s like an extreme form of “Kantönligeist”, where it’s not just AG vs. ZH, but actually cities within AG pitched against each other.

      I can only speculate. Aarau is the capital of Argau. Baden is also part of Aargau but from my experience feels closer to zurich or independent from aarau. Also Argau has a reputation of being very conservative,

      Every neighborhood hates the neighborhood next to them.

      Every village hates the villages around it.

      Every Gemeinde hates other Gemeinden around them.

      Every Canton hates other Cantons.

      Eastern Switzerland hates the west and vice versa.

      Switzerland hates the EU.

      No need for an actual explanation even if there’s more to the joke, it’s funny as long as I’m not the butt of the joke.

      Is it on the way to Stadion Esp? Probably just FC Baden fan welcoming fans of FC Aarau.

      Also; split the Canton in half at Brugg and the East and the West absolutely despise each other. Baden and Aarau are the most important cities in their halves of the Canton and as such the tensions are higher than say between Zurzach and Zofingen.
