I can see both sides of this, and it’s a shame – teachers pay is not great considering the stress and workload, so a side gig is often needed, and it’s not like there’s anything acutally illegal been done. Morally, well, that’s an individual matter.
As someone roughly the same age, I admire her body confidence. I wish I had it.

Perhaps if we paid teachers better, they wouldn’t have to resort to making pornography.

I’m always annoyed by the people who “ discover “ these OF creators. Post nut clarity hit them hard lol. But no consequences fir the consumers who report them

Imagine being the lowlife who goes looking for granny porn on OF, finds a local teacher, and then decides to out her.

Seems like a bit of an overreaction to plain nudity. If we didn’t stigmatise naked bodies so much it might help improve kids’ education. Probably better in general for schools to overreact than underreact in cases like these though.

Perhaps someone with that level of body-positivity is exactly what’s needed in this age of body dysmorphia and body image issues.

“Children were not directly impacted,” the report said.
Grassed up by a colleague. “Concerns about Corston were raised in September 2024 when a colleague at the school saw an OnlyFans notification on her phone.”
Nor was it in her name either.

I fucking hate puritanism.
She sounds like a great teacher with decades of experience and now its all gone to waste cause she showed her pussy?
Fucking nonsense. Who cares?

Understandable. Can’t work with kids and also work in the adult industry too. Pick one.

When I was still in school, one of the best teachers we had was fired over a fetlife profile, apparently that was in the students best interests. (It was never in our best interests to do anything about the handsy teachers though!) Good to see not much has changed!

So it would appear that somebody involved with the school in some way has a penchant for granny porn, otherwise how would they have found out?

If there was a decent demand for hairy blokes I would be on OF too, money is money…

As a teacher, I’m wondering what the market for nerdy, middle-aged men is like? I could use some extra money.
But also, sod this.
>The early years teacher had an “otherwise unblemished career” and did not make content during teaching, it added.
and
>Concerns about Corston were raised in September 2024 when a colleague at the school saw an OnlyFans notification on her phone.
>She declared that she had an account, which involved nudity but not sexual acts, the report said.
and
>The report said that Corston held responsibility as a teacher and the public rightly expected her to set a “good example”.
The implication here is that a consenting adult selling some nudes online is not setting a good example. Fine, but if that’s the case then we really need to rethink the so-called British values that we as teachers are required by law to teach in school, which include ‘tolerance’ and ‘liberty’.
>It added that pupils could have potentially been “exposed to, or influenced by” her behaviour in a “harmful way”.
No they couldn’t, not unless the teacher in question told them what they were doing (when there is zero implication that this is the case), they discovered it for themselves (in which case, that’s on the parents) or they were told about what she was doing by someone else. Either way, the responsibility for those failings falls on other adults.

They have to show a “good example” because they’re a teacher, okay, but how is adult acting morally wrong? Please prove to me that this anti-sex morality is not just normative BS left over from victorian puritanism.
What a bunch of BS.

Gotta say I actually think this one’s an unfair decision that I disagree with. It’s not like she was using her actual name on her OnlyFans account to sell it, or acting in a way that the kids would find out unless they went looking for it (if so, not her fault, but on OnlyFans/Parents for not gatekeeping the sexual content from them). We don’t fire teachers who consume the stuff, but are firing the ones selling it because they aren’t being paid enough by the school. That the reasoning boils down to “this is setting a bad example”, but that people who would admit to watching the stuff (and statistically, it is the majority of men) probably wouldn’t be fired, makes me think there’s as clear-cut a sexist double standard as can be. And at the end of the day, I do think in her case, it’s her private life and not relevant to her ability to teach (if I had kids, I’d rather they had a teacher on OnlyFans than a teacher who spoke positively about being in the military, which is an actual bad influence, given how sidespread sexual violence in the armed forces is).
Said as somebody anti-porn no less, but I’m anti-porn because I think it’s unreformably sexist. It would be super hypocritical of me to object to porn because I view it as harming the people coerced into selling sexual services, but to then want them to lose their jobs and be pushed further into the sex industry when they aren’t the ones jacking off to it and treating people as objects (let alone in truth, people jacking off to extremely dangerous kinks like strangulation, though I realise from the article that her content was sexualised nudes, which is definitely tacky, and something I frown on, but not exactly hardcore BSDM or the like).
