Reports of his death are greatly exaggerated

    > the Taoiseach’s satisfaction has recovered by four points to 37 per cent. It makes him the most popular party leader.

“Support for Social Democrats up almost 50% since last year. Fianna Fail see modest rise in support.”

You can do a lot with stats just by how you frame them.

  4. These polls really don’t matter a shite until an election is much much closer

A certain amount of fatigue always sets in with a political party after they have been in power for a few years. Sinn Féin’s inability to capitalise on that should bring questions on their leadership team at this stage. The amount of left wing parties shows that there are plenty of voters out there for them as a FG voter is not likely to suddenly turn SF.

I think Mary Lou performed well in many ways but a fresh approach might be needed before the next election.

Are people masochist or just dumb?

How can FF and FG still grow in support after seeing how incompetent they are?

Literally they just keep on using the same strategies and people still think they’re doing something.

And the margin of error is?

Are any of the movements outside the MoE?

What is the movement outside the MoE?

Pat Leahy doing sterling work for his masters, as per usual.

Is it just me or do the taoiseach’s numbers seem to improve every time he shuts up for a while?

SF is dead wrong to appease Putin and move away from unequivocal Ukraine support. If they truly dig in on this, I’m writing them off for good.

Sad to see that so many Irish people agree with him that widely available AI-generated child-porn is an acceptable price to pay for Elon Musk leaving FFG alone.

SF want there cake and eat it i think. No cents on housing or emergration etc other than blocking planing and buzz words as with all the parties. Why change. Higher taxes prob. Better what. dont know

This is is always the opposition complain about current government and offer up “free this and that” but come election time they have to show their hand in terms of their actual ideas. Once viewed the middle class realise that the €200 childcare is going to be funded by increased increases in their tax for example. And they stay with FF/Fg as there is no centre / slight right of centre party
