russia lowers its prices to appeal to China to buy more and then uses the money to funnel it back to China to buy drones, of which they need more and more to keep up the increasing terror pressure for MAGA cult’s “peace” plan, other weapons, and even general industry spare parts.
but at least regular everyday russians are fine with it, because whatever happens, it can’t be viewed as russia “losing”, amirite? 😀
If you read the article, it was Trump who claimed India has stopped buying Russian oil, while the Indians themselves are keeping quiet on the matter.
And over the past year and a half, everyone has become convinced that information from Trump is almost never reliable.
For now, only one thing can be said: the Russians are managing their military budget with a minor deficit and have begun shifting their main revenue focus to taxes and excise duties.
I don’t see India reducing its oil imports from Russia in exchange for a 18% tariff deal. US will have to sweeten the deal to a far greater extent if they want India to stop buying Russian oil.
