Sono appena stato a Lubiana e ho soggiornato all’Eurostars Grand Hotel Union. Se giri a destra dalla reception, c’è una sala con autografi incorniciati dei precedenti ospiti famosi dell’hotel. Uno di questi proveniva dal famigerato ex principe Andrea, duca di York.
Non penso davvero che appartenga a questo posto. Ho espresso le mie preoccupazioni a uno dei dipendenti, ma forse a causa della barriera linguistica o del fatto che probabilmente non seguono le notizie o non hanno idea di chi sia la persona, non è successo nulla.
In qualche modo ha reso l’esperienza del mio ospite un po’ strana. Continuavo a pensare se stavo nella sua stessa stanza e se avrebbe potuto avere donne minorenni con lui nella stessa stanza d’albergo.
Comunque se qualcuno di questo forum potesse dirgli di rimuoverlo, sarebbe fantastico. Penso che nessun hotel dovrebbe essere orgoglioso del fatto che il signor Mountbatten-Windsor abbia soggiornato lì.
Sto esagerando? Oppure resterà lì come ricordo storico? Non lo so davvero.

It’s unfortunate and gross (edit: and I agree they should remove it!) but I’m willing to bet they had no idea what you were talking about. The concern about him having underage girls in the room seems like a bit much though tbh – that would have been pretty brazen on what was probably some form of state visit
They should probably remove that, yes.
But at the same time, you’re definitely overreacting. Why would someone staying at the same hotel as you almost two decades ago change your experience in any way?
If you follow that logic, you could get offended every day because some bad person once drove on the same street as you.
I guarantee you the employees don’t even know who that guy is neither average Slovenian, so chill out and enjoy xD
