Watch people arguing it’s Orwellian to regulate AI that does Orwellian things.

Hard to find anything wrong with that. The devil is probably in the details, but at first look this seems like a solid basis.

You should also say what exactly is considered to be “AI” in this context.
Also the right hand side tells close to no information – mostly copies what is already said on the left.

How do you document, and how much will this set us back against the US?

Am I the only one who can’t tell what this image tries to convey?

What do you have to do when AI generates shit graphics like this?

    More of that please.

It’s so funny to watch people ask for… deregulation on something that will utterly destroy their lives on a matter of a few years.

Europe will be the last place standing in the West, if it successfully regulates AI.

I’m pretty sure the three categories given here go beyond high risk AI systems as defined in Annex III so there’s actually _fewer_ systems that actually have to be documented than what the graphic would make you believe.

And funnily enough: this graphic is so obviously AI that it probably wouldn’t even be subject to the so-called « marking obligation », even though it’s one of the few obligations that aren’t limited to high risk AI systems.
