We should start thinking about lifetime bans for some offences and attitudes. Driving is a privilege not a right.

Serious driving crimes, like a lot of crimes are basically carried out by a limited number of people that massively over represent in the stats.
Like you’ll have people that have like 52 points or some stupid shit and then keep on driving when banned whilst normal people are worried when they have 6 which are usually for speeding.
It’s the same with a lot of antisocial behaviour/crimes like shoplifting, fly tipping etc. If you can remove these people from the roads/public semi-permanently but on-masse then it would make a huge difference to safety and overall crime rates.
