Shitty behaviour from the Gardaí, dragging this out all the way through trial, and putting the Teacher through this, then only to settle at the last minute. Such a waste of the State’s resources, Gardaí legal team making bank and the State picks up the bill.

Was she found guilty for what she arrested for? Would this not affect being a teacher?
Why isn’t the garda named? Why isn’t there detail on whether or not the garda is still employed by the state?
So much public money wasted by Garda defence team. Why didn’t they reach a settlement before a Jury was convened ?
Sounds like she f**ked around and found out.
