  1. Reminder this is only a consultation but I deeply worry about passing any of this by using secondary legislation. I call on everyone in the UK to get involved in the consultation when it starts and tell them why this is a bad idea and support groups pushing back on this.

Anglo suffering seems to be a trend, since the turn of the millennium.

***well, which of you is going to be the first to say “I told you so”?***

Every time I am in the UK, the discount eSIM from my carrier handles the connection and gives me an
IP geo-located back-hauled to my home in central Europe, so all of the UK government’s pointless laws aren’t applying already, (even without a VPN.)

I would assume the average young person in the UK can find €8 to do the same thing and buy a discount foreign eSIM if they want to wank it or get groomed by a trumpian elderly pedo, if they really want to, right?

All this authoritarian shit gotta stop nobody should have to give biometric and personal data to untrustworthy third party companies just to verify our age and especially if you are not trying to access anything that’s 18+

I hope this stupid OSA gets scrapped by a future government I hope reform doesn’t get in power though

The Government said “these powers will mean we can act fast on its findings within months, rather than waiting years for new primary legislation every time technology evolves … no platform gets a free pass“.
