Oh good, something else for the government and police to pretend isn’t happening

    >story about abusing teenage girls

    >two of the cases say it was South Asians

Good job a quarter of the article is telling you not to worry about the race of the perpetrators and not about the girls that have been abused, just in case people start thinking about the similarities to other cases

Please, whatever it takes, throw some actual weight behind arresting and prosecuting these monsters. No community needs people like this in it, attacking the most vulnerable girls. Its a national disgrace.

  4. > Our investigation reveals a complex picture in London, with gangs from a range of ethnic backgrounds, including white, operating widely in the capital and frequently exploiting young women.

Is white really an ethnicity? I don’t think it is in particular. In London about 30% of young people are white British, another 20% white non-British.

This feels like another deliberate media distraction, similar to calling the grooming gangs ‘Asian’ when they were usually British Pakistani or Muslim. The media use a wider category including Japanese, Korean, and Chinese people, because that helps to water down and distract from the real cultural and ideological underpinnings of the crimes.

How is this news to anyone? Watch any TV fiction or documentary about gangs and its typical behaviour. Its also been in the media countless times over the years and was a major plotline in Eastenders at least twice. Everyone is well aware this happens and has been for decades.

While on the subject how about doing something about the mid 20s men who hang around secondary school gates at closing time waiting for their “girlfriends”? Almost every school has them.
