      I know he has since changed his tune a small bit but Bono’s positions on Israel really devalue any attempt by him to be woke. Sorry, not buying it.

      Just had a listen there. I found it quite good. American Obituary is banger, Tears of things reflective.

      Hopefully the new album is a banger and we get a night or 2 on Croker but hopefully Slane.

      Just when you thought they couldn’t be less relevant they go and surprise you. 30 odd years since they did anything beyond meh, it’s okay

      I watched a Tiny Desk performance by Bono and the Edge. 

      It was a mostly excellent performance, Bono is a remarkable vocalist. 

      But then at the he starts  going on about Ukraine. Dedicated the last song to Zelenskyy. The song was crap. 

      Just shut up and sing Bono.  If you want a political platform then run for election?

      I like U2, they put Irish music on the map and they seem like a self-aware, self deprecating and decent bunch.
