      Well if that’s the goal then just let Russia keep throwing 50k men a month into the grinder. Eventually they’ll have to start pulling in the boys who have been raping and pillaging in the frontiers.

      I think this has been in the minds of European negotiators for many years now, in the case of Russia economically collapsing – a general rule that Russian troops cannot be deployed outside of Russia. Not just in Ukraine, but anywhere.

      Interesting to see the thoughts begin to translate into words, though.

      I’m all for it. But what does this ‘demand’ really is? Another strong condemnation letter with zero consequences?

      This is just bizarre and is obviously not meant to be actually accepted.

      The war is in Ukraine, so Ukraine would desire the maximum recovery of its own territory before any other thing Russia could concede.

      If we think of there being a fixed amount of concession Russia would give at any point in time to end the war, 1 additional concession in Armenia means 1 less piece of territory in Ukraine. Ukrainians themselves would be mad if they could not recover all their claimed territory in exchange for some other country’s affairs.
