Ciao a tutti! Sto utilizzando un traduttore per questo testo, quindi mi scuso se la lingua non è perfetta. Sono un norvegese di 24 anni e sto programmando un viaggio in bicicletta in giro per la Bulgaria a luglio. Dato che non conosco la lingua e la cultura, vorrei chiedere se c’è qualcosa che dovrei sapere prima di partire.
Il mio piano era dormire in tenda nella foresta, ma ho letto che questo è proibito. Dovrei preoccuparmi delle multe? Inoltre, mi piace visitare i pub e i ristoranti locali nelle città che attraverso. Alcuni dei posti in cui penso di fermarmi sono: Sungurlare, Sliven, Gurkovo, Gabrovo, Dryanovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Elena, Varbitsa e Asparuhovo. Questi posti sono adatti o c’è qualcosa che dovrei sapere al riguardo (sono pericolosi, noiosi, ecc.)?
Se avete altri suggerimenti sui luoghi da visitare, sarò felice di condividerli. Se qualcuno di voi vive nelle vicinanze, mi piacerebbe fermarmi per un caffè o qualcosa del genere. Check out some Bulgarian cyclist groups in Facebook. Roads aren’t that safe in Bulgaria for cyclist. I guess people there will be more helpful with your question.

Hi, I really like your route. Get ready for some climbing 🙂 I would recommend spending more time north of Stara Planina, like Veliko Tarnovo – Popovo – Razgrad – Targovishte – Shoumen, through the small villages, avoiding the main roads. Much better than in the south, but that is just my opinion. Its really beautiful and not much traffic. Absolutely it will be no problem to spend the night in the forests, never had an issue. The main problem will be the heat in July, don`t worry about crime and such stuff. good luck and keep us updated!
