      How are SEND provisions ‘critical infrastructure’?

      Sure they are important, and should be well run at a reasonable cost, but at the point they are critic infrastructure we might as well declare McDonald’s as one too and keeping going until the term loses all meaning.

      I sometimes wonder whether we could put a group like NICE in charge to carry out cost–benefit analysis on spending above the level of a standard education.
