      He can’t forbid us from buying energy from the Slovakian grid operator, according to ENTSO-E rules.

      He can still block emergency assistance which Ukrenergo (UA grid operator) says we have used very infrequently in the past. So they reckon we’ll be fine.

      Fico can still get fucked, tho 🙂

      It’s a war crime for Russia to target civilian infrastructure, and especially in such extreme temperatures. Slovakia deserves sanctions for this.

      So, entire EU donates shit ton of money, equipment to help Ukraine during the war and therefore protect itself from possible russian aggression in the future. But, one leader of not the most important country in the union decides to undermine these efforts because of some reasons. There we have one of the examples why Europe is unable to protect own interests on the world arena.

      Meanwhile regular people of the country raised more than 1.2 mio to help Ukrainians with heating this winter and donations spiked tremendously after fucker announced he stops with electricity.

      The pumps that supply the oil runs on electricity. Cutting off the power will definetly not solve the issue.
