Maybe find a youtube video about German school and watch it. School is different in every state in Germany.

The exact times of lessons and breaks can differ from school to school. Some only have one “big break”, some have two, some have 5 minute breaks after each 45 minute lesson, some have blocks of 2x 45 before having a longer break. Some have 7 lessons in the morning and some only have 6 but afternoon classes.

a lesson takes 45 minutes. often they put two lessons together into one block so you had maths between 8:00 – 9:30 for example.
it’s hard to show you a typical day since it differs from every schooling system. i had a couple of days where school was over at 15:00 for example but most days were till 13:00.

well idk if it is the same for all schools, i am at a so called “Gymnasium” , but here :
8 AM First lesson (1+2)
9:30 AM Breakfast Break (1th break)
9:50 AM second lesson (3+4)
11:20 AM 1st lunch break
11:50 AM third (45 min) lesson (5)
12:35 AM 2nd lunch break
1:05 PM forth (45 min) lesson (6)
1:50 PM short break
2:00 PM fifth (45 min) lesson (7)
2:45 PM really short break
2:50 PM sixth (45 min) lesson (8)
3:35 PM school ends
But remark this is a LONG school day of 8 “School hours=45 min
For tenth grade the average school day is till 2:45 PM, so just 7 hours.
