Who is coming to Ireland in January
There was a lot of ‘canary in the coal mine’ talk about the dip in number in early 2025, whereas now it looks like it was just a blip.
Foreign visitors specifically rather than tourists.
Nearly half, 46%, of all overnight foreign visitors indicated the main purpose for their trip was for visiting friends and relatives, while 30% said it was for a holiday, and 18% of visitors said it was for business purposes.
Its not so many tourists with these stats
Hmm….coming to Ireland in January, seems weird…but hey, hope they had a good time…..
Wonder how much of this is people choosing not to go to the US.
