      So Reform accuses many people in the country from overseas of not integrating or speaking English, yet one of Reform’s leading regional Mayor’s cuts English classes for such people. This in and of itself is a superb example of the completely absurd and hugely irrational politics the party both represents and advocates. Mad as a box of frogs! 🐸

      Absolutely correct. The funding should go to British children who need extra help and anyone wishing to come an work in the UK should be fluent in English.

      Speaking the language should be a requirement to come here in the first place. It was for my wife’s visa. Outside of a few asylum cases you shouldn’t be allowed settlement without passing English language exams. The money we spend on translation is ludicrous.

      Seems fair enough, my taxes already fund pretty much everything for everyone, not sure I need to be paying for everyone to learn other languages too

      Good. If they want to learn English, get a tutor or go to a private school or use Dualingo. Don’t do it at the taxpayers expense!
