      Not surprising.

      Labour Together ran too many dodgy operations with Mandelson involvement. They are all tarred with the same brush now.

      I knew it was over after Starmer said he had his “full confidence.”

      Still, it’s nice that the press has finally noticed that Labour Together is a billionaire-funded dark money political smear group that goes after enemies of the Blairites. Mind you, they only started noticing when it was journalists they were targeting. They remained silent when it was social democrats and the left of the party.

      And so he should resign after the allegations made against him. Even if not proven to be true, no Minister of State can in all conscience and with any integrity remain in post while being investigated.
      At least he’s done the right thing and resigned. Even if doing so rather belatedly.
