Ho uno IUD che deve essere sostituito (ha circa 10 anni). Il mio ultimo inserimento è stata un’esperienza orribile: estremamente dolorosa e eseguita senza anestesia.
Sto cercando consigli per un medico in Slovenia dove hai avuto una buona esperienza e ti è stato offerto un qualche tipo di gestione del dolore per la procedura. A questo punto, guiderei onestamente ovunque in Slovenia per un’esperienza indolore.

Not sure if anyone uses actual numbing agent for this? We are usually told to take some pills before the procedure before we even come to the doctor.
So I would suggest checking out some private practices and calling and asking if they have some additional pain management they can offer. I don’t mean to scare you but removing an IUD is IMO worse than inserting it and mine was there less than 2 years 🥲
