      As long as we do that for every other development, sure.

      Singling out datecentres is pointless.

      Does it matter? These data centres will be built, if they are in the uk then there is a better chance of their data being protected under Uk law, and their emissions properly reported

      If there is value for the data centres coming here then they should also be contributing to the provision of the clean power they need

      Why are we not asking if all the tat we buy from China increases emissions

      Lol ! 55MW to 1GW but Ed will bury his head .

      BTW petrolhead just gone electric car cos it’s cheaper 0- 60 in 5.9 seconds take the same energy and generates the same heat !

      Open to well calculated end to end arguments !
