Why are these anti-LGBT extremists always somehow finding themselves in charge of everything trans related?

Well that’s a first, usually that kind of bias is a requirement for the job

And of course the usual crowd are up in arms over it

From everything I’ve read there’s no reason these trials shouldn’t go forward outside of bias.

Oh dear . I went into reading this with an open mind. But someone in his position shouldn’t be praising someone as openly trans inflammatory as her . No , the role needs to be impartial

The anti-trans lobby are trying to sabotage the very research they claim is needed into puberty blockers, most likely out of fear it will prove them wrong. They are not interested in doing what is best for children, they are only interested in getting what they want at the expense of the wellbeing of trans people.

Great that he has recused himself but does this change anything? Has the MHRA backed down from the letter itself? There’s some really baffling stuff in there (such as the nonsense about vaginal bleeding) and it’s clear there is no new evidence that has driven this. They approved the trial, he got appointed, the letter was sent. So clearly he was driving this but what happens now? He has recused himself but not left the organisation all together so they can’t publicly embarrass him but also they are surely on dodgy legal grounds here because the letter probably shouldn’t have been sent in the first place.
