I dont like or use social media but letting some weirdo censor the internet is not the answer.
The main thing sticking out to me: what differentiates a messenger like WhatsApp, threema or Signal from a ‘communications platform’?
Cause I don’t really see any way one could reliably filter out things like cp without breaking the encryption of these messengers or introducing client side scanning… Both of which are a hard no from me
