I think we can leave. Mission failed successfully, although through no fault of our own.
These are where our thoughts should lie during all these crises. Not with the tax dodging and slave labour enjoying teachers and influencers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Manama.

By the way not a fan of the phrasing of the headline, makes it sound like the peacekeepers are hiding away or something when they have been ordered into shelter and there isn’t much they can do about things getting out of control.
The Lebanese government did a shit job responding to the murder of Irish peacekeeper Seán Rooney, so why should our military continue to serve there?
Ya. The troops are just pawns. Israel say hez is building bunkers under the irish. Hez say no. Etc. There is no point. Hez and Israel are just killing them whenever. And of cause say my bad.
The political people putting the lads there are leading them to die for no reason really.
