Il 2025 è stato un altro anno da record per il turismo dell’UE, con quasi 3,1 miliardi di pernottamenti trascorsi in strutture ricettive turistiche in tutta l’UE. Ciò riflette un aumento del 2,2%, ovvero 66,4 milioni di pernottamenti in più rispetto al 2024.

Nights spent by international guests increased by 3.4% (+49.7 million), while nights spent by domestic guests increased by 1.1% (+16.7 million).
Most overnight stays, 61.7% of the EU total, took place in 4 EU countries: Spain (513.6 million), Italy (476.9 million), France (471.7 million) and Germany (442.1 million).
In contrast, the countries with the lowest figures for tourism nights were Luxembourg (3.6 million), Latvia (5.0 million) and Estonia (6.7 million).
