I see you chose a day when it wasn’t lashing it down

Looks great, and even with the rain I’ll still bike rather than sit in traffic. But I’m guessing many of those stuck don’t live cycle distance from work.

Ya if I could cycle and use public transport to get to work I’d do it. A 20 minute drive or 2 hour cycle and public transport.

Actually a rainy day with proper gear is not a big deal plus you’d be surprised how few days it actually rains during normal 9-6 travel times. It’s much preferable to using public transport on a rainy day at peak times – loads of people crammed inside coughing and spluttering at you.

Oh look at me I live close to Dublin City centre, I can afford an overpriced house and cycle into work whilst looking down my nose on people that live outside the city that cant use overpriced under developed transport system. Why dont these people just stump up the 600 grand or so to live on the southside of the city or surely mammy or daddy can help them out. They’re so inconsiderate to the environment too, most likely driving a car older then 5 years old and spewing out fumes and ruining our city.

Is this the rocky road to Dublin?

Im the exact same. Can’t understand why so many drive when there is zero need. A good electric bike and you’re away in a hack.
