      >A 40-year-old and a 55-year-old were arrested at addresses in Barnet, a 52-year-old in Watford and a 22-year-old in Harrow.

      >Six other men aged 29, 39, 42, 49 and two aged 20, were arrested at the same location in Harrow on suspicion of assisting an offender.

      >All 10 men have been taken into custody.

      >Commander Helen Flanagan, head of Counter Terrorism Policing London, said the arrests, which took place around 01:00 GMT, are part of “a long-running investigation and part of our ongoing work to disrupt malign activity where we suspect it”.

      Hopefully (assuming they are guilty regardless of whether they are working for Iran) they will be put to justice. But I do worry a successful attack like this much similar to 9/11 will encourage us to make poor decisions abroad and waste extortionate amounts of money helping the US fight a dubious war in the Middle East, that might (if a refugee crisis does result from this) result in our country being less safe anyway for British citizens and Jews, which was what happened when we decided that taking out the Taliban would make our country safer (it in fact probably did not).

      Does someone with more knowledge of this than me know why the Iranian state would be spying on Jewish civilians (presumably) in London?

      I wonder what those who say Iran poses no threat to the UK think about this??

      Definitely not civilians it’s probably one of the many who fight in Israel to which they need to be asked where their loyalty lies

      I hope they investigate Nigel’s ties to Iran. So far we know that he was sponsored by an Iranian Billionaire to attend Davos this year.

      We’ve probably known about these guys for a while and arrested them now due to the conflict.

      I wonder what the response will be from the people who have been denying that Iran are a threat?

      I also find it amusing that people are adamant that we should keep out of the war when Iran are trying to commit acts of terrorism and attacking our military bases.

      I’m Jewish and live in London, absolutely bizarre for them not to tell us if these people were linked to Israel. Jews being randomly targeted in London would be horrifying, people linked to Israel being targeted would be such a different situation. (and incredibly anti semitic to link “the jewish community” at large to that genocidal state)
