      Swiss citizens are expected to vote on the neutrality initiative in 2026. If a majority of both the people and the cantons approve it, Switzerland would write “perpetual and armed” neutrality into its Constitution.

      I’d like someone to explain to me how Swiss neutrality works when all Switzerland’s neighbors are part of the EU.

      Let’s say the EU is really mad at Switzerland and closes all the borders and airspace. What is the Swiss response?
