Attualmente vivo in Canada e sto cercando di ottenere la cittadinanza armena per discendenza.
Sono stato battezzato in una chiesa armena a Istanbul, e ho i certificati di battesimo del Patriarcato armeno (immagini allegate). I documenti confermano che sono membro della Chiesa armena e includono il mio certificato di battesimo e la registrazione della chiesa.
La mia situazione:
• I currently live in Canada
• I have a Canadian Refugee Travel Document
• I cannot easily travel to Armenia right now
• My Armenian ancestry is documented through the Armenian Church baptism records
volevo chiedere:
1. Is a baptism certificate from the Armenian Church usually accepted as proof of Armenian origin for citizenship?
2. Can the application be submitted from abroad (through an Armenian embassy/consulate), or must I travel to Armenia?
3. What is the fastest or most reliable process to apply from Canada?

1. Yes it’s enough for you to claim Armenian ancestry and get a passport.
2. Not sure, probably yes you don’t need to travel to Armenia right away.
3. Contact the Armenian embassy in Ottowa, they will answer all of the questions that you have
