Il drone ucraino vince la prima fase del programma di selezione del Pentagono

The Shrike 10 Fiber, a fibre-optic drone produced by Ukrainian defence company SkyFall, has won the first phase of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance programme, which is selecting UAVs for the United States Army.

**Details:** SkyFall competed in the programme in partnership with the UK company Skycutter. The official website lists the UK manufacturer as the winner. The Shrike 10 Fiber scored 99.3 points, more than 10 points above the runner-up.

Defender Media said winners will be ranked, with each receiving a different number of orders. The US intends to buy 2,500 drones from the first-place winner, while the 12th-placed company would receive an order for 1,400 UAVs. The number of drones and participating companies will change across phases two to four.

As much as America is amongst the worst out there, them buying Ukrainian Drones would be good for Ukraine’s economy, one downside means that anything America gets its hands on will have information about it given to Russia, should that happen then Ukraine should reverse engineer Patriot Air Defence Systems, their Missiles, F16s and anything else America has sent Ukraine at various points
