    It’s a non-jury civil case, so burden of proof is lower than a jury trial

    I’d say regardless of any evidence most people would have their mind made up already

    Gerry Adams is a National Hero. Only time says he’s a criminal.

    It’s funny how it’s all about “it was so long ago, who even cares if they did bad things, they’re too old to drag to court now either way!” when it’s British soldiers though.

    They are all at it. Taking legal cases was SFs speciality. Now there are all at it. Time to draw a line under it all. Enniskillen etc was v bad. But the good of everyone we need to start fresh and hope it’s much better than before

    Did he not win a libel case against the BBC who said he was a member of the IRA? be interesting to see how this goes.
