Maybe no coke-fueled mayhem Christmas party this year, then.

      Maybe.

One of the quotes from an article: “And anyone with Outlook on their personal phones had their phones wiped.”

Well shit, hopefully they had backups 😬

Well it’s a lot more civilised than blowing up schools

This is a global attack, and the group seem to have managed to acquire the admin rights to some systems, including the Intune management system. This controls remote devices (laptops, phones, etc.) and these have been remotely wiped in Stryker offices around the world.

Did somebody post here earlier about working at a medical device company and suffering an outage??

    6. Well they had to get rid of the Christmas party antics somehow!

“The National Cyber Security Centre in Dublin has been informed of the incident and is understood to be responding”

What in the name of fuck are they going to do?

Will someone, who likes to use both sides of their brain, put me at ease here:

Obviously something was “clicked” here by an employee? An attachment was opened?

Yeah? Am I reading this correct?

As opposed to some sort of hacker hacking in and deleting stuff?

I was assured our neutrality would defend and protect us against such things!! They must not have known im sure a well worded letter should fix it.

Yep, work for Stryker. All of my stuff has been wiped. Luckily I didnt have any company apps on my phone. Actually insane

Does anyone have a picture of the message Stryker sent to employees or any of the pages with Handala on it?

Apart from the damage done, this should be a warning NOT to use Microslob Windows!

I would imagine the likes of Lily, Regeneron & Analog all Limerick based are likely to be targets as well three big US corps

This seems to be hugely over localised by the article. It’s a global attack on Stryker

Genuine question; how do they know it is Iranian backed?
