  2. Not surprising. Normally there’s long lead-ups to conflicts, with clear signposts and objectives. This allows for contingency planning.

    This was sprung on everyone with little notice, in the middle of peace talks.

    And Trump doesn’t care, he said the US oil firms are making massive profits with energy prices going up,.

    Surely this is the event that makes us radically change our energy pricing system?

    Maybe this will be the kick in bum we need to get away from old sources of energy production.

    Renewable energy is inherently more resilient and it helps our security as a country.
