The Green Party are the new Lib Dems who do great outside the General Election. But when the next GE comes around then people don’t use their vote for protest.

Currently Labour are unpopular. They will be popular again. Has Polanski forgotten the Tories in 1997, Labour in 2010, Tories last year etc?

I highly doubt that.
The greens are riding a wave of anti establishment fevour and to their credit quite well.
But they’re not exposed to an actual election yet.
Imagine Zack arguing against NATO with Putin lobbing missiles?
Imagine him arguing we get rid of nukes?
Imagine him arguing for a totally open immigration policy with automatic visas to all who wish for 3 months.
These things are not just deeply unpopular they’re a bit mental. People are happy in by election to give the government a bloody nose but I doubt anyone is going ti genuinely hand him power.

I have a feeling Polanski will make a giant tit out of himself and Labour’s fortunes will start to improve. The shelf-life of reheated Corbynism is limited by how long it takes for naive supporters to get disillusioned and move on to the next great hope.

The voting intention polls in Wales have Plaid in the lead followed closely by Reform, then Labour. Greens aren’t even really in the running in Wales.

Man without a seat in parliament gives opinion on Labour’s seats in parliament.

Labour may well be going the way of the Liberal Party.

Plaid will come first in Cymru, at this rate, not the Greens
