      It didn’t exactly go into detail about what and where the money is being spent. But I suspect it’s not pure charity. Wars generate refugees. They’re probably trying to help make it viable for people to stay where they are, instead of migrating into Europe.

      This money goes to Jordan, Libya, Syria and Palestine. Probably to prevent a situation that would trigger another refugee crisis. Which is a good thing to do.

      I know it’s sad to spend money on humanitarian aid because US act like dipshits again. But us not joining this stupid shit, always being on the side of negotiations and now sending help to affected will bring us a lot of soft power for the future.

      And it’s just enough money for like 2-3 skyscrapers. Nothing major in grand scheme of things.

      Is there more info on this? Where is the money going? Why are we sending money to the Middle East when they have oil fuck you money? I’d rather this went to Ukraine.

      Europe should put a tax on Israeli products to pay for it. Europeans didnt decide to bomb the shit out of the gulf.

      A small step towards sanity. The people there should not be made into a pawn in cynical games. Show them humanity, and maybe sometime far into the future we have a more humane world.

      Now do everything to influence Israel and US to change their ways. Stop buying military equipment from them, limit trading, stop funding their wars in any way.

      The help is surely appreciated, but how about actually trying to stop the aggression instead of protecting the aggressors (looking at you, Germany) and then paying for humanitarian aid?
