L’allentamento delle sanzioni sul petrolio russo da parte della Casa Bianca potrebbe far fruttare al Cremlino 150 milioni di dollari al giorno per finanziare la sua macchina da guerra in Ucraina, hanno avvertito i senatori democratici statunitensi.
"La decisione del presidente Trump di concedere una riduzione delle sanzioni alla Russia è ancora un altro esempio di come Putin sia stato uno dei primi beneficiari della guerra mal concepita ed eseguita del presidente Trump contro l’Iran." Lo hanno affermato i senatori Elizabeth Warren, Jeanne Shaheen e Chuck Schumer in una dichiarazione del 13 marzo condivisa con il Kyiv Independent.
Mentre la Russia ha già fissato il budget militare per quest’anno, il presidente Volodymyr Zelenskyj ha avvertito che il Cremlino probabilmente spenderà ulteriori entrate in armi, in particolare nei droni utilizzati nei mortali attacchi di massa della Russia contro le città ucraine.
Il Kyiv Independent ha calcolato quante di queste – e altre armi – la Russia potrebbe acquistare con 150 milioni di dollari.

It’s a disgrace. Pedophile removes sanctions after starting a war that should have never happened. All this after bullying/alienating all former allies and trying to demand they help clean up his mess.
Trump is a paedophile who thinks he owns everything, and resents them for not allying with his delusion, and now he is trying to ease sanctions on Russia, which is helping Iran killing Americans.

This is Russia playing a card that it has, but it is a symptomatic relief, not a cure for there illness. They think that if they can make more weapons, ammo, and equipment that they can stem the bleeding. Not so. Every day a new refinery strike, and we are seeing Ukraine move up the target chain as more refineries and oil depots are “sanctioned.” Now we see avionics and electronics logistics being destroyed. As they continue to move up the target chain, Russia becomes less and less able to even use this shiny new oil money.
