Hope they get Justice after all. Seems like a very lenient sentence.
Even if it wasn’t murder (and it well could have been), he acted in a despicable and cowardly manner (not calling for help, robbing her and running away) and his punishment was far too lenient. Hopefully the German justice system will correct for this error from the Australian courts and provide real justice.

Germany has jurisdiction over this case since his sentence would be much higher in Germany than the one he has been given. This is a no-brainer, he must be prosecuted.
