Quindi… mentre stavo andando in bicicletta dalla mia città natale a Lusk per il compleanno di mia nipote, ho notato un dettaglio particolare sul cartello di benvenuto a Lusk che questa città è in realtà gemellata con Thorigné-fouillard in Francia, il che mi ha fatto pensare, anche la tua città ha una sua gemella?

Not that I’m a cynic or anything, but these twinnings only benefit councillors going on twinning visits/junkets and sign manufacturers.
Yes, Longford is twinned with Sparks, Nevada, US.
Ennis is twins with Phoenix (USA), Langenfeld (Germany) and Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet (France) – so technically quadruplets.
But none of those towns are twinned with each other. Which makes you wonder what on earth the parents were up to.
Live in Kerry, Killarney is a “twin” town with 10 places, mostly for tourism purposes.
Rush is twinned with gourin in France and San Mauro castelverde Italy.

Meelick is in Co Clare and Meanus in Co Limerick and they are only 25km apart but they are twinned
