I think it’s because it could be worse?
Nobody asked us regural people about it
my ex from finland always said “its because all the depressed ones commit sudoku”
i’m guessing it’s the method of asking + collecting
Probably more of a “Is this a ok day? Cool! positivity marked.”
Keep in mind #3 is denmark #4 is COSTA RICA of all places and #5 is sweden
Should everyone become immediately unhappy and discontent when unemployment rises from 8% to 10%?
Really hopeless feelings about the rest of the world if this what we have is the peak
I’m curious, have you lived anywhere else? Places where healthcare is inaccessible or puts you in debt. Where police are corrupt and untrustworthy? Where daycare costs $3,000 a month? Where the education system teaches revised versions of history? Where any moron can carry a gun around and school shootings are rampant? I know comparison to the US is a pretty low bar, but I’ve never personally felt to be in as safe and secure a place as Finland.
Because it doesn’t have anything to do with happiness as we would think of it
More like how fine are you with your life and how close are you to your ideal life, lack of worry I think is also part of it
Most people are still fine with their life especially when taking into account what it would be like most likely elsewhere. Rather poor in Finland than in a different country
