Old people feel the cold more easily than others. This is not unique to Ireland.
Can we see a photo of your gf seeing as you just post photos of people without their consent?

This has nothing to do with Irish weather, older people typically experience a stronger sense of cold.
Also I know it’s legal and yada yada but taking pictures of strangers in the streets is never anything but weird and uncomfortable to imagine doing.

It could be a heat wave, and the second the breeze touches my mother she said its freezing and needs layers.
Elderly are naturally colder.
