      Banned from keeping animals for 5 years. Why not make it for life? How is his position on the welfare & care for animals going to dramatically shift in 5 years?

      It’s in Grangemouth. So this is technically self defence.

      That fine is pathetic. He should be made to pay the full cost of the vet fees for getting those dogs back to full health. As for the ban on keeping animals, it should be for life.

      If you can’t visit on “exceptional occasions” then you make sure you have people who can. 

      The sentence is too lenient.
