Only some old City centers in the south Look Like this. Often well visited by tourists.

It is together with Heidelberg and Castle Neuschwanstein the top tourist destination.
I’ve never been there, even though it’s only 120 miles from where I live 🙂

It’s Rothenburg ob der Tauber. A popular town with tourists. Germany doesn’t look like this everywhere, but there are quite a lot, especially smaller towns, that have similarly well preserved medieval centers.

That is Rotenburg ob der Tauber….it was just a few train stops away from my usual route to University and back home. Yet I never went there.
