These limits are less about total supply and more about preventing panic buying from turning a temporary disruption into a real shortage.

50 liters a day limit… Are there really many people that exceed that?

I have a question for Europeans: Russia can supply Iran via the Caspian Sea—for example, with drones, ammunition, food, and so on—which means Russia actually wields considerable influence over Iran.

After Europe cut off oil and gas supplies from Russia, it turned to the Middle East for alternatives. However, the Strait of Hormuz is currently blocked. Suppose Russia and Iran join forces to impose an energy blockade on Europe—what should Europe do?

Even without a blockade, Russia could collaborate with Iran to control the flow of supplies, leaving Europe once again vulnerable to Russian coercion. Have Europeans come up with a solution yet?
