“Aid”? Do they mean weapons sold by the US to Ukraine and paid for by the EU?

The article says that it’s being considered, not that it’s happening.

Hopefully it won’t happen, but if it does, blame Iran. The good news is they are less of a threat with every passing day so hopefully any disruption won’t be for long.

If Trump was a rapper, his signature song would be “It’s All About The Rubles.”

There has not been any aid for Ukraine for months lol

From the creators of “Where a russian soldier has stepped, it’s ours.”
Behold: “Whatever fund the US has contributed to, it’s ours.”

Before suddenly declaring war, Trump was on the phone to Putin for hours.

I’m sure he gave Trump the best advice he could!

Would be funny if the US depleted all they have and had to purchase from Ukraine in the future, for heavily marked up prices

    Fucking idiots.

Well. I try to find something positive. US has less means to extort with aid if they dont give it.

It is absurd that US became what it is now

They are considering diverting *European* aid for Ukraine, not US aid. These are purchases through the PURL programme, US wants to send them to the Middle East instead.

    “Aid”

If it’s bought and paid for – it ain’t aid. It’s a purchase.

NATO should cut back on any help for taco so as to maxmise help for Ukraine and Greenland

I don’t believe that Trump is a Russian agent but I can’t think of anything a Russian agent would do differently.

He’s seriously making greater strides in rebuilding the Soviet Union than just about anyone else.

This Iran war was completely necessary for the security if the US, Israel, Europe, and Ukraine.

Under current conditions, even if a Ukraine Russian peace deal was signed, we were cruising towards a war in the 2030s with Russia in eastern Europe, China in Taiwan, and a nuclear armed Iran with ballistic missiles that can cover Western Europe.

American resources are enough to win in this scenario, European efforts at rejuvenating defense are uneven and insufficient, and we are basically looking at catastrophe.

Now, with Russia dragged down in Ukraine and China not ready to move, the US has delivered a knockout blow to Iran.  Despite the tough rhetoric, Iranian capabilities are deeply compromised and the catastrophe scenario is impossible.

Once the US seizes the Straits of Hormuz, (which btw, despite denial, looks to be a key American war aim) together with its actions in Venezuela, the US is seizing control of global energy markets.  This will put a drag on any Chinese efforts to attack Taiwan and constrain Russian efforts to rebuild it’s military capacity after the Ukraine war is over.

So yeah, we might slow down weapons delivery, so we can all actually win and stop WWIII.

At least from what I’ve read, Ukraine is gaining ground again and Russian losses are climbing. I suspect at some point this US administration is going to scramble to send Ukraine aid to claim credit for victory.

As an American I will very loudly dispute that.
