Oh! Pulling oligarchs in to fund military efforts doesn’t reflect well—it suggests serious strain and a system leaning on private wealth to sustain a prolonged conflict.

I would suggest that the oligarchs brick up all windows in their dwellings.
Putin stops at nothing to destroy Ukraine. He can get a very favorable now by accepting a freeze of the current frontlines. But he is determined to continue the war at all costs.
“Final”, sure. All Russia’s 2025 gains were less than what Ukraine has reclaimed in the last two weeks. But no doubt one last push is all Russia needs for a total victory. Yup.
The special military operation is officially a disaster when you have to ask for donations. And considering how the war in Donbas is going, with Ukraine advancing, I don’t think anyone sees a 2final push” coming anytime soon.
