To be honest with the state of our military we probably need their help more than the other way around
Can they give 99 mil and 1 mil to lower council tax a bit? Or reduce homelessness? Or fix the border issues? Or make NHS a bit more effective? Or reduce the price of the train tickets? Or lower taxes a little bit?
Ukraine are fighting a proxy war for us against Russia. We should be grateful it is their boys and girls dying and we just have to fund it and keep them supplied

I hope not a penny goes to the US, I’m happy to spend money helping Ukraine with it going to UK (and EU) suppliers.

Good. This and the previous £500 million announced means sizeable numbers are going out there.
Any chance the Government can commit to our own defence separate to our efforts with Ukraine… got a Defence Investment Plan that’s 6 months late.
We absolutely should give all support possible to Ukraine. But at the same time we should also start thinking seriously about our own air defence. This government which keeps delaying the defence investment plan, resulting in zero defence investment actually made in the past half year makes no sense at all and threatens the security of both us and our neighbours.
