it’s about time
Gender equality – Yay!
That’s a tough shift, feels like policy trying to balance fairness and reality, but it’s going to hit a lot of people hard.
Note that this only applies to new people.
The ones who are already in the country are allowed to stay. They are not rounded up and sent back.
And new people claiming asylum will get their application processed as normal.
_I hope more of these young men (and women, if they do not have young children) man up and return to help free their country. Ukraine needs them._
I believe (or at least hope) that is what I would do in their situation, even though I do not know that for sure. (It is easy to be a tough guy on the internet…) And hope I never have to find out.
Where’s the humanity? If they wanted to, they wouldn’t leave the country. And all these hypocritical politicians simply send them to the slaughter, and then at some future date promise to accept them into the European Union. Neither in Ukraine nor in Russia does anyone value their lives or their rights. Hypocrites are everywhere. Many in Europe don’t understand the realities there.
